Is MarketLeap an agency, or how do you actually work?
We’re a wholesale distributor and marketplace operator, not an agency. We buy your products at an agreed wholesale price, sell them across Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Bol.com, Otto, Temu, and more under our own account, and invest our own capital in advertising and operations. We only make money when your products sell.
How does MarketLeap make money?
We earn a margin between the wholesale price we pay you and the retail price we sell at. There’s no monthly retainer, no percentage of revenue, and no hidden fees. Your wholesale price is fixed upfront, so you always know exactly what you’ll earn per unit.
If I hand over Amazon to you, won’t I lose control of my brand?
No, you keep full strategic oversight via MarketLeap Central, our shared dashboard showing real-time sales, pricing, advertising, and reviews across every marketplace. We handle execution; you stay in control. We also monitor for unauthorised resellers and flag any listing activity on your behalf.
Who manages advertising, and who pays for it?
We do both. MarketLeap manages all PPC, sponsored ads, and keyword strategy, and funds 100% of ad spend from our own margin. You pay nothing toward advertising, directly or indirectly. Because it’s our money, we only spend where it converts.
Are there any upfront fees or setup costs?
None. We cover VAT registration, brand registry, content creation, label localisation, compliance certifications, advertising setup, and warehousing as part of our investment. Your only cost is your wholesale price and shipping stock to us.
What are the contract terms? Am I locked in?
No lock-in. We operate on a rolling 30-day contract, either party can exit with 30 days’ notice. Large brands can pilot a new market with zero long-term commitment. Most brands stay because the results speak for themselves.
I’m only interested in expansion — do you manage compliance?
Yes, fully. As importer and merchant of record, we handle VAT registration, customs, product certifications (CE, WEEE, battery), label localisation, and supplement market notifications in every country we operate. All compliance costs are absorbed by us — not passed on to you.
What does the onboarding process look like?
Sign an NDA, share API access or sales data, and we run a deep-dive analysis within 48 hours to 1 week. We present a growth plan with forecasts and pricing, agree on wholesale terms, and once you ship your first inventory batch we handle listings, content, advertising, and launch. First call to first sales: 4–8 weeks.
